Trx1 acts as an S-desulfhydrase. A, B, and C, Trx1 overexpression inhibited the S-sulfhydration level of global proteins, PC and GAPDH in HEK293 cells. HEK293 cells were transfected with Trx1 cDNA for 24 h, and then treated with 50 µM NaHS for 2 h. After that, the cells were collected for biotin switch assay using antibody against biotin (A), PC (B), and GAPDH (C). *p<0.05 versus all other groups. n=4.
