(a) Vertical scalable concept for molecular thermoelectricity. An insulating spacer is placed on top of a graphene bottom electrode, and drilled with nanopores. These pores are filled with C60 molecules. A top graphene electrode is deposited. Thermoelectricity is enhanced by Quantum Interference. Schematics of the two simulated devices: (b) a C60-monomer and (c) a C60-dimer sandwiched between two graphene monolayers.
