Postoperative magnetic resonance study. Postoperative MRI of patient illustrated in Image 4. The patient underwent extended septal myectomy, Cox-Maze IV AF ablation, left atrial appendage amputation and tricuspid valve annuloplasty. This study shows no residual LVOT obstruction or mitral regurgitation. Rhythmic atrial contractility can be appreciated in the study in sinus rhythm 1 year after the operation. This patient has currently no limitation to physical activity and normal pulmonary artery pressure.
