TgPEPCK_mt is essential for the lytic cycle of tachyzoites with impaired glycolysis. The TgPEPCK_mt mutant and parental (RHΔku80-TaTi-Δtggt1) strains were evaluated by plaque area (arbitrary units) and numbers in the absence or presence of ATc.
