Experimental results. Images of the tissue specimen phantom representing linear X-ray attenuation coefficients at 25, 35, 45, 65, 85 keV reconstructed by the cOSSCIR method (with spectral-response scaling) and the two-step algorithm (with the scaled spectra). The display window, listed for each energy level, was selected to span the range of values between air and the mid bone intensity. The image values are in units of cm−1.
