The vertebrae of the TSK mice appear shorter than those of the B6 mice at 4 weeks, but then appear to grow more rapidly than those of the B6 mice and by 12 weeks are noticeably longer than the B6 mice particularly in the lumbar region (statistical analysis shown in Supplementary Data).
