In the figure, ln(D(E)) is plotted on the vertical axis, with different scales for different elements, and ln(Fe Domains) is plotted on the horizontal axis, with the same scale for all elements. The black square shows the D0 value determined by this experimental study in the Fe-Ni system. The red, blue, and green symbols are experimental data points for solid metal/liquid metal partitioning in the Fe-Ni-S, Fe-Ni-P, and Fe-Ni-C systems respectively. The new parameterization expressions for the S, P, and C-bearing systems were constrained to use the D0 value determined in this study and are shown as solid lines. The parameterized lines end roughly at the eutectic points of their respective systems.
