CNE-1 and HNE-1 cells were transiently transfected with the control siRNA and DEPDC1 siRNA, respectively. Seventy-two hours after transfection, cells were collected, stained with Annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide (PI) and subjected to apoptosis analysis. The proportion of early apoptotic cells (FITC⁺/PI⁻, lower right) and late apoptotic and secondary necrotic cells (FITC⁺/PI⁺, upper right) were quantified and subjected to statistical analysis (P*** < 0.001, Student's t-test).
