Dbf4 and Cdc7 were translated in vitro in the presence of 35S-labeled methionine and incubated together with the indicated 6His-tagged Ctf19 complex members. Bead-bound proteins after Ni2+-affinity pulldowns were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and autoradiography (top). Purified bait proteins were analyzed separately by Coomassie stain (bottom). DDK associates with the Ctf3 trimer and with the Ctf19-Mcm21 dimer.
