Paired and isolated voles are exposed to 10 days of chronic mild stressors (details in Figure 1; cage changes matched) |
Day 21 |
Tail Suspension Test |
Paired and isolated voles are exposed to a 5-minute tail suspension test, followed by replacement in the home (paired or isolated) cage |
Day 22 |
Forced Swim Test |
Paired and isolated voles are exposed to a 5-minute forced swim test, followed by replacement in the home (paired or isolated) cage and heat lamp for 15 minutes |
Day 25 |
