Effect of BAP, CRY and DALP on the AHR target genes CYP1A1 and CYP1B1 in HaCaT WT and AHR-KD cells. Cells were exposed for 24 h and 48 h to (A) BAP (0.1 μM, 1.0 μM, 3.5 μM), (B) CRY (0.1 μM, 1.0 μM, 3.5 μM), and (C) DALP (0.01 μM, 0.02 μM, 0.03 μM), respectively. Controls contained 0.1% DMSO (vehicle) only. Relative gene expression of CYP1A1 and CYP1B1 was subsequently quantified with SYBR Green using real-time PCR. Target gene expression was normalized to the transcription level of an endogenous gene (HPRT). The data represent the mean of two independent experiments (±SD).
