Table 3. Changes in microbial abundance.

Results of Wilcoxon signed-rank tests on the changes in microbial loads. The change in microbial loads was calculated by subtracting microbial load at day 3 from that at day 18; thus positive signed-rank value mean increases in microbial loads during incubation and vice versa.
