STRING analysis of the Urm1-intercting partners identified by mass spectrometry, depicting functional networks where Urm1 may be involved in embryos (A), larvae (B) and adult flies (C). During all developmental stages, Urm1 appears to be associated with networks of proteins that regulate oxidation-reduction processes, tRNA modification, immune responses, mRNA processing, translation and protein folding, as well as cytoskeletal dynamics. In embryos, Urm1 is additionally linked to a protein network which is involved in chromatin remodeling.
