Table 2.

Number of events (d) and sample sizes (n) were calculated from formulae (3) and (4) for various of hazard ratios (δ) under the Weibull distribution, with nominal type I error of 0.05 and power of 80%, 85%, and 90%. The empirical type I errors (α^) and powers (1β^) were estimated based on 100,000 simulation runs.
