To induce resistance, LL/2 cell line was continuously exposed for more than 6 months to gradually increasing concentrations of sunitinib. (A) Value of IC50 to sunitinib increased in LL/2-R cells. Points, mean of three independent experiments; bars, SD. (B) LL/2-R cells had a reduced cell growth inhibition, when treated with sunitnib. (C) LL/2-R cells had an increased clonogenic capacity, when treated with sunitinib. Cells were exposed to 1μm sunitinib for 10 days, and each group is made in triplicate.
