Recognition of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) by pattern-recognition receptors and immune evasion strategies. Innate immune signaling pathways involved in the recognition of HBV and HCV infection and the subsequent induction of interferon and interferon-stimulated genes.
