Pleural effusion in a 69-year-old man with a metastatic gastrointestinal stromal tumor treated with nilotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used for imatinib-resistant chronic myelogenous leukemia. The patient presented with increased shortness of breath and bilateral lower extremity edema.
