(C) ARS2, ZC3H18 and the RNA exosome cooperate in the decay of 3′extended snRNAs, PROMPTs, eRNAs and RNAs with 3′ends inside first introns of pc genes. As indicated, decay of some species may also occur via direct exosome targeting by the NEXT complex. Note also that ZC3H18 appears dispensable for targeting of RDH gene-derived species.
