Effect of different concentrations of PEG on adventitious root development in cucumber explants. The primary roots were removed from hypocotyl of 6-day-old seedlings. Explants were incubated for 6 days with different concentrations of PEG 6000. The numbers (A) and root length (B) of adventitious root were expressed as mean ± SE (n = 3, 10 explants were used per replicate).
