Efficiency of 2′-OMeUtaPS at inducing the excision of the exon 23 from the mdx mouse dystrophin pre-mRNA upon transfection of PMO and PNA sequences 14 and 15, respectively, in mdx mouse myotubes. The concentration of 2′-OMeUtaPS was kept at 2 µM. All experiments were performed in serum-containing medium with the exception of the transfection of 2′-OMe RNA sequence 16, which was carried out using Lipofectamine® 2000 as the transfection reagent in serum-free-containing medium.
