OU master curve (solid line) compared with the experimental MSD from different systems reported in the literature, normalized by us using the reported data on temperature and velocity or other quantities: (circles) steel sphere 1.19 mm from Fig. 2 in ref.18, (triangles) silica particle of 3 μm at 99.8 kPa from Fig. 4 in ref.14, (diamonds) silica particle of 3 μm at 2.75 kPa from Fig. 3 in ref.14, (squares) silica sphere of 2.5 μm from Fig. 2 in ref.15, and (stars) silica sphere 1 μm from Fig. 2 in ref.15. The long-time plateau exhibited in some MSD curves is due to either the system’s finite size or to the particle’s confinement by the external field.
