Nano-11 has comparable adjuvanticity as aluminum hydroxide adjuvant (AH) and shows superior immunopotentiation at low dose. Mice were immunized twice with 2 μg of recombinant protective antigen (rPA) from Bacillus anthracis alone or adjuvanted with either AH or Nano-11 at three different dosages (200, 50, and 12.5 μg).
