Fig 1. The cytotoxic and anti-mycoplasma effect of anti-mycoplasma antibiotics on hepatocarcinoma cells.

Fig 1

(A) Images showed cytotoxic effect of AZI/MXF on HCC97L/Hep3B cells, respectively. (×200; bar, 50 μm); MTT analysis showed the cell viability of HCC97L/Hep3B treated with increasing concentrations of AZI/MXF, respectively. (B) The relative mycoplasma DNA copy numbers measured using qPCR showed the anti-mycoplasma effect of AZI/MXF treatment on HCC97L, Hep3B and PLC/PRF/5 cells for 3, 5 or 7 days. Error bars indicate SD of a representative experiment out of three independent experiments performed in triplicate. Statistical significance was determined by using paired two-tailed student’s t-test: ***P < 0.001, ***P < 0.01, *P < 0.05 as compared with control. P values, t-values and degree of freedom were provided in S3 and S4 Tables.
