General health-related quality of life assessed with EQ visual analogue scale (EQ VAS) scoring. Poor quality of live is noted in group IV compared to group I, II, and III. Significant differences are noted only between group IV and other groups, while there are no differences among group I, II, and III. Grouping is as follows: group I, patients with no overlap with other disorders; group II, patients overlapped with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); group III, patients overlapped with functional dyspepsia (FD); group IV, patients overlapped with both GERD and FD.
