The percentage of cells in the G1 phase was decreased, and the percentage of cells in the S phase was increased with Mt2 overexpression (A). Meanwhile, the percentage of apoptotic cells was decreased when GC-1 spg cells were transfected with Mt2 plasmid (B). Different letters indicate significant differences (p < 0.05). In apoptosis assay, the percentage of apoptotic cells included both early and late apoptosis.
