Microarray analysis revealed downregulation of the Nrf2 pathway in islets of TFG KO mice. Total RNA extracted from isolated islets of 10-week-old f/f and KO mice were subjected to microarray analysis. (a) Gene Ontology (GO) analysis. Top 20 GO terms significantly associated with 97 genes, extracted as described above, are shown. GO terms to which Nrf related genes (56 genes) are annotated with statistical significance (P < 0.05) are shown in red. (b) Transcriptional factors associated with expressions of genes which showed altered expression levels, differing by more than 1.25-fold between f/f and KO islets with statistical significance (P < 0.05), were analyzed using Keymolnet Lite software.
