Ingenuity pathway analysis (IPA) was used to identified gene expression changes that affect specific cellular pathways (A). In (B), IPA bioinformatics was used for the merger of the top 2 networks. The analysis confirms major changes in several aspects of lipid metabolism, and identifies PPARa as a prominent regulator of these processes. Symbols in grey indicate genes, and affected pathways, that are downregulated in Muc2^−/− IECs.
