(A) Detection of p21, p27, cyclin B1, and cyclin D1 protein expression by Western blot in NE cancer cells treated with multiple concentrations of TDP-A (0-8nM) or vehicle control (DMSO). Equal loading was confirmed with GAPDH. (B) NE cancer cells were treated with two doses of TDP-A and vehicle control (DMSO) for 48 hrs, and stained with propidium iodide (3 ug/mL). Cell cycle analysis with fluorescence-activated cell sorting showed that the mechanism of growth inhibition is by cell cycle arrest at G2/M phase in BON cells and at G1 phase in MZ and TT cells.
