Sequences of the CL40 and CL59 VH and VL domains. The amino acid sequences of CL40 (A) and CL59 (B) heavy and light chains obtained in this study through a sequencing effort using heavy and light chain cDNA isolated from CL40 and CL59 mAb-expressing hybridoma cells. The alignment shows the closest V-D-J allelic regions for the heavy chain and V-J regions for the light chain (www.imgt.org/IMGT_vquest/vquest) with the inferred unmutated common ancestor (UCA) sequence. A dot (.) denotes identity, and a dash (–) denotes a gap. Residues that differ due to somatic mutation are represented by the original amino acid single-letter code in the alignment. A gray background highlights the CDRs. Heavy-chain CDR is labeled H-CDR1–3, and light chain CDR is labeled L-CDR1–3. The DNA sequences of the CL40 and CL59 antibodies have been submitted to GenBank under accession nos. MF104552 (CL40 heavy chain), MF104553 (CL40 light chain), MF104554 (CL59 heavy chain), and MF104555 (CL59 light chain).
