Each data point represents the mean oocyst intensity and oocyst prevalence in a single group of mosquitoes. The size of each data point represents the size of the mosquito group analyzed. Data were collected from both control and experimental feeds between 6 and 9 days post infection. In total 1635 separate feedings comprising 25,574 mosquito dissections are shown: 150 feeds with An. gambiae (green) comprising 2691 mosquitoes and 1485 feeds with An. stephensi (blue) comprising 22,883 mosquitoes
