Arenobufagin enhanced the effects of gemcitabine and 5-FU. (A) Panc-1 and ASPC-1 cells were treated with arenobufagin (10 nM) and/or gemcitabine (500 nM) for 48 h. The combination of the two drugs significantly inhibited the proliferation of Panc-1 more than either arenobufagin or gemcitabine alone. (B) Panc-1 and ASPC-1 cells were treated with arenobufagin (10 nM) and/or 5-FU (50 µM) for 48 h. The combination of the two drugs inhibited the proliferation of Panc-1 more than either arenobufagin or 5-FU alone.
