Compound C rescues the anti-proliferative effect induced by metformin. Ishikawa and HEC-1-A cells were pre-treated with compound C for 24 h prior to incubation with metformin for 24 h. Proliferation was assessed using 5′-bromo-2′-deoxyuridine assays.
