(A) GC activity was measured in the absence of CNP (basal) or in the presence of 100 nM or 1 μM concentrations of CNP in membranes prepared from whole cells that were incubated for 15 min with 1 μg/ml heparin in the presence or absence of the indicated concentrations of FGF2. (B) GC activity was measured in membranes from whole cells treated in the presence or absence of 100 ng/ml FGF2 for the periods of time shown. Each point in (A) and (B) represents the average of duplicate determinations from 3 separate experiments such that n = 3 for each point.
