MICs were determined by microbroth dilutions in accordance with CSLI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) M07 guidelines. Pathogens were exposed to a range of dilutions of PG (0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1%), independently and in combinations (checkerboard) with a range of dilutions of CAP (0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, and 0.05%). MIC was determined by visual scoring for growth (“>” denotes greater than).
