(A) Cells treated with carmofur and their IC50 values of 37, 50, 28 and 21 µM for U87, SJGBM2, U87-10gy and SJGBM2-10gy, respectively, were determined utilizing MTT assays. (B) Intracellular ceramide levels were measured from untreated U87-10gy cells and U87-10gy cells treated with 50 µM carmofur for 1 h.
