A 10-year-old female with non-displaced scaphoid fracture. CT coronal image with 2-mm slice thickness shows no fracture line (Fig. 1a). Coronal VNCa image demonstrates increased attenuation with a green color code relative to the more blue and purple normal bone, representing BME (Fig. 1b).
