Distribution of AAV1 versus AAV5. Vector genomes/μg of lung DNA were measured in the 17 lung segments shown in Fig. 5. Note that although there were some differences from segment to segment, it is clear that the vector genomes from AAV1 were a ten-fold higher than those measured from AAV5. Both AAV1 and AAV5 were distributed throughout the lung following microspraying. Data are averages ± standard error of the mean (SEM); n = 4 for each column.
