MoCA = Montreal Cognitive Assessment (Maximum Score 30). HVLT = Hopkins Verbal Learning Task (maximum score 12). As expected patients with MCI performed more poorly than controls on both the MoCA and particularly on the HVLT delayed recall. All of the above participant demographics were obtained via an informal interview. Any individual with a history of severe head injury would have been excluded from the study at prescreening (none were).
