FIGURE.

The figure above is a bar chart showing reported cases of suspected Zika virus disease and reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction testing results, by epidemiologic week in Haiti, during October 12, 2015–September 10, 2016.

Reported cases of suspected Zika virus disease and RT-PCR testing results*, by epidemiologic week — Haiti, October 12, 2015–September 10, 2016

Abbreviation: RT-PCR = reverse transcription polymerase–chain reaction.

* Some persons might have had more than one laboratory test.

A person with a negative Zika RNA test via RT-PCR might have had recent Zika infection detectable by serology and plaque reduction neutralization testing, both of which are unavailable in Haiti.
