Effect of short term viral infection on T-type Ca2+ channel expression in differentiated ND7-23 cells. a, b A 3 h viral infection with HSV-1 did not have any significant effect on the cell capacitance and T-type Ca2+ current density of differentiated ND7-23 cells. ND7-23 cells were cultured for ~4 days with differentiation media (DM) supplemented with NGF (50 ng/mL) + db-cAMP (1 mM). After cell differentiation, cells were infected for 1 h with HSV-1 (moi=5). After this time period, viral particles were removed by washing with fresh media and cells were maintained for up to 3 h before performing whole cell recording of Ca2+ currents
