Comparison of chromophore binding and fluorescence activation by Spinach and Corn. (a) Fluorescence of Baby Spinach (ref. 14) or Corn RNA with DFHBI or DFHO. Fluorescence measurements at excitation and emission maxima for each complex, λex and λem, respectively, were corrected by subtracting the fluorescence of the fluorophore at the corresponding λex and λem.
