Wound-induced JA synthesis and response are inhibitory for callus formation. A, Expression profiles retrieved from RNA-seq show that many genes involved in JA biosynthesis and response are induced within 1 h after wounding. Note that only genes with RPKM > 1 that change significantly along the time course are shown (20/27 genes for JA synthesis; 22/24 genes for JA responses).
