CYD0692 suppresses endogenous and TGF-β induced ECM protein expression. LX-2 cells were incubated with CYD0692 (0.75 μM) at time points as indicated. Whole cell lysates were analyzed by Western blot with antibodies for α-Smooth muscle actin (A), Type I collagen and fibronectin (B), and mmp-3 (C). LX-2 cells were incubated with CYD0692 (0.75 μM) for 2 hours and then treated with TGF-β (2 ng/mL) for 18 hours (D), whole cell lysates were analyzed by Western blot with antibodies for fibronectin, Smad2/3, phosphorylated-Smad2/3, ERK1/2, and phosphorylated-ERK1/2. GAPDH was used as loading control. The results are representative of at least three independent experiments.
