rCPB does not induce marked activation of porcine (A) and human (B) platelets. Platelets (33.3 × 106/mL) were incubated with rCBP (250 ng/mL), thrombin (2.5 U), neutralized rCPB or DMEM for indicated time points. CD62P-PE labeled antibody was used as activation marker. The histograms show the Phycoerythrin (PE)-fluorescence intensity of porcine and human platelets, in which the PE positive fraction represents activated platelets.
