Response Criteria7

Complete response (CR)
  • - resolution of all clinical symptoms

  • - the absence of new clinical signs and symptoms

  • - normalization of CSF

  • - normalization of MRI findings (or minimal residual abnormalities on T2 or FLAIR)

Partial response (PR)
  • - Improvement but no complete resolution of all clinical symptoms

  • - complete resolution of all clinical symptoms but with persistent radiological abnormalities (excluding minimal residual abnormalities on T2 or FLAIR)

  • - normalization of CSF

Nonresponse (NR)
  • - Persistence or progression of neurological symptoms, radiological or CSF findings

Relapse
  • - Reappearance of new signs and symptoms attributed to BNS;

  • - detection by cytological and/or MFC, and/or molecular techniques of BNS disease

  • - progression or new findings attributed to BNS by MRI examination of brain and spine.
