This study was based on a database comprising 615 consecutive GBS patients. Patients under 18 years of age, diagnosed as Miller Fisher syndrome or chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and who could not be reached were excluded. 186 GBS patients were finally included for data analysis.
