The effects of AAV-mediated restoration of Homer1a expression in the NAC of Homer1a^-/- mice upon sensorimotor function and depressive-like behavior. (A) Genotypic differences in acoustic startle were apparent only between Homer1a^+/+ and Homer1a^-/- mice infused with AAV-control (con). (B) Group differences were not observed for PPI. (C) Homer1a^-/- mice exhibited a shorter latency to float in a 15-min Porsolt swim test and AAV-Homer1a (H1a) increased the latency to float in both genotypes.
