Cylindrical electric field components are plotted: B) Eϕ showing the Type II reduction in each sample cell at a 2.5 mm radius; and C) Eρ showing tangential electric field nulls in each sample cell at 22.5° increments over half the circumference along the center of the flat cells. D) Eϕ along the center of the sample showing the Type III increase towards the end of the azimuthal sample cells (dashed) and through one of the crossed flat cells (solid). A small increase due to circulating electric fields occurs near the center.
