Mosquito cell lines transfected with CHIKV-D-Luc-SGR. (a) Aag2 and A20 cells (Aedes aegypti), or C6/36 and U4.4 cells (Aedes albopictus), were transfected with CHIKV-D-Luc-SGR RNA. Cell lysates were harvested at indicated time points and assayed for R-luc and F-luc as described in the legend to Fig. 1 (n = 3, experimental replicates). (b) Mosquito cell lines were transfected with nsP3-mCherry/SG-GLuc replicon RNA. The four lines produced very different organisations of nsP3.
