Serum from patients with aHUS results in neutrophil adhesion to BOECs. BOECs cultured in the BioFlux microperfusion chamber were exposed to 50% serum from patients with aHUS in clinical remission (see Table 1 for details) and calcein-labeled neutrophils at 1 dyne/cm².
